The 2TG Property Damage Team invites you to its 4th Annual Damage Day Seminar and champagne reception. Chaired by Sonia Nolten, our programme includes expert speakers and covers key topics of current importance in property damage litigation, including:

Looking at recent decisions on expert shopping and asking: How far can lawyers push their experts?

Exploring the liability and indemnity issues that arise when professionals such as architects and engineers agree to do work for friends.

Keynote Speaker: Bob Moxon Browne QC: ‘Changing Profiles and Risk’
Looking at changes in the profile of property risks and their effect on the relationship between motive, opportunity and forensic evidence in arson cases.

Guest Speaker: Dr Martin Dobson: ‘Subsidence: When is a Risk a Real Risk?’
With a wealth of experience as an expert arboriculturalist in subsidence claims, Dr Dobson takes another look at the controversial case of Berent v Family Mosaic Housing Association [2012] EWCA Civ 961, in light of recent cases including Pattichis v London Borough of Enfield.

Registration is from 1.45pm and the seminar will commence promptly at 2pm.

A drinks reception will follow at 5.15pm.
