African Minerals Judgment
Neil Moody QC, Robert Cumming and Andrew Bershadski give an update on the ongoing litigation in the African Minerals case, in which they acted for the Defendant at trial in the High Court and in the Court of Appeal. The judgment of the Court of Appeal ([2020] EWCA Civ 144) contains an important discussion of the developing principles of common design and liability in tort for the acts of third parties. It is of significant interest to anyone practising not only in the field of human rights and group litigation, but also in the law of tort generally.
