Insurance and Reinsurance
The Insurance and Reinsurance Group is headed by Howard Palmer QC and Alison Green. It deals with all aspects of insurance and reinsurance disputes, including jurisdictional issues, policy coverage and avoidance of cover for non-disclosure and misrepresentation.
Members of the Group act both for and against insurers and reinsurers and handle all commercial policies, including those covering financial and contingency risks, aviation risks, construction and international CAR, professional indemnity risks, as well as compulsory RTA and EL policies. Group Members also have expertise in life, PHI and critical illness cover.
The width of experience covers every aspect of a dispute from policy interpretation to the robust cross examination necessary to defeat a fraudulent claim.
