Posted: 02/09/2025

2TG Chambers is delighted to announce that Anna Dannreuther has joined Chambers as a tenant, bringing with her a flourishing practice spanning group litigation, commercial, employment, and public law.

Ranked as a Rising Star in Legal 500 and Up and Coming in Chambers and Partners for Group Litigation, Anna has already been instructed in some of the most high-profile collective actions in England and Wales. These include the landmark Dieselgate litigation and a major consumer group action concerning over 20,000 Plevin PPI claims.

Anna also acted on behalf of 1,500 Uber drivers seeking unpaid holiday pay and national minimum wage, and has a strong record in public law challenges, including high-profile judicial reviews of Government Covid-19 measures and the accommodation of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.

Before coming to the Bar, Anna trained as a solicitor in a leading commercial law firm, gaining considerable experience in high-value international disputes, including investor-state arbitrations and cross-border environmental litigation. She is also qualified as a New York Attorney.

Speaking on joining Chambers, Anna Dannreuther said:

“I am thrilled to be joining 2TG. I have long admired the calibre of its members and the strength of its practice areas – particularly in group litigation, commercial law and private international law. I look forward to contributing to Chambers’ continued success and further developing my practice, particularly in complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes, group actions and strategic public law litigation.”

Lucy Wyles KC, Head of Chambers at 2TG, said:

“We are very pleased to welcome Anna Dannreuther to 2TG. Her broad expertise, dynamic practice, and proven track record in some of the most significant group actions of recent years make her a tremendous asset to Chambers. We look forward to supporting Anna as her impressive practice continues to develop”

Anna was appointed to the Attorney General’s C Panel of Counsel (2023–2028) and the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s Panel of Counsel (2024–2028). She has appeared as sole Counsel in the High Court and Employment Appeal Tribunal, and has been led in the Court of Appeal, frequently acting opposite senior Silks.

Anna will be accepting instructions across all core areas of Chambers’ work, with a particular focus on complex group litigation, commercial disputes, employment and international human rights matters.
