10th January 2023

Cost: Free
CPD: 1 hour

Howard Palmer QC and Lucas Fear-Segal will focus on the practical implications of proving causation in actions against insurance brokers.  In particular, they will consider the circumstances in which it is alleged that brokers’ negligence has not resulted in the loss of insurance cover.

The seminar will provide some guidance on the application of the relevant (but often difficult to reconcile) authorities that fall to be considered where a broker alleges that a claimant in any event would or could not have obtained the required insurance, or would not have complied with a policy condition.

We would be delighted if you could join us. We will start promptly at 6pm. The seminar will last about 1 hour and will be followed by drinks and canapés at 7pm.

This is a free event which qualifies for 1 CPD hour.

If you wish to attend this event please respond to Deborah Francis at seminars@2tg.co.uk.
