We appear in international courts and arbitral tribunals all over the world, frequently acting on complex multi-jurisdictional disputes. We are particularly well-known for managing cross border litigation on matters of jurisdiction and applicable law and appear regularly in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.

2TG is delighted to announce that highly rated Group Litigation specialist, Gareth Shires, is joining Chambers with immediate effect.
Recognised by Chambers and Partners as one of the top Group Litigation juniors in the UK, Gareth enjoys an outstanding reputation in this area of work. He handles all manner of disputes, including consumer, environmental, data privacy and product liability actions. Recent high-profile instructions include the VW NOx Emissions Litigation, the British Airways Data Event Litigation, and group litigation against Ticketmaster and Equifax. He is currently instructed in the NOx Emissions litigation, where claims are being pursued against multiple car manufacturers, including Mercedes, Ford, Peugeot and Renault, and in several product liability claims including the Essure Medical Products Litigation and litigation against a number of manufacturers of trans-vaginal mesh.
Away from group litigation, Gareth’s practice encompasses a broad range of related commercial work, including cases concerning consumer and data protection, and environmental issues.
