This month Conor Ewing provides an update on two recent cases which grabbed the headlines during the month of May. The first is Finn v The British Bung Manufacturing Company Limited and Another, which concerned whether calling someone bald amounted to harassment related to sex under the Equality Act. The second, Rodgers v Leeds Laser Cutting Limited, concerned whether the dismissal of an employee who refused to return to work during the pandemic because of health and safety concerns amounted to automatic unfair dismissal.
