Surveying the Negligence

Jessica van der Meer will consider some recent surveyors’ negligence cases including  Bank of Ireland v Watts Group plc [2017] EWHC 2472 (TCC), Dunfermline Building Society v CBRE  [2017] EWHC 2745 (Ch) and Bridging Loans Ltd v Toombs [2017] EWCA Civ 205.

Christopher Lundie will focus on issue of attributable loss in light of the recent decision of the Supreme Court in Tiuta International v De Villiers Surveyors [2017] UKSC 77 together with the related decisions in Swynson v Lowick Rose LLP [2017] UKSC 32 (accountants) and Gabriel v Little [2017] UKSC 21 (solicitors).
