Caroline Harrison QC, Anastasia Karseras and Henry Morton Jack will talk about recent developments on the meaning and effects of dishonesty in compensation claims. They will cover Gentry, Howlett, Ivey v Genting Casinos, Miley v Aviva, Razumas and Sinfield, and give practical guidance on how to analyse and prepare your cases.
Caroline Harrison specialises in clinical and professional negligence, complex personal injury and permanent health insurance claims. She acted for the insurers in Miley v Aviva and Wilsher v Friends Life. She is also the chair of the PNBA, and a member of the Government’s Biometrics and Forensic Ethics Group.

Anastasia Karseras is ranked as a tier 1 Leading Junior by Legal 500 for Insurance Fraud in Personal Injury, and has been described as “…very thorough and has good attention to detail”. Henry Morton Jack specialises in fraudulent personal injury claims, jurisdictional matters and insurance law claims. He has a wealth of experience in claims arising out of accidents abroad, and has recently acted for the Defendant in committal proceedings arising out of a fundamentally dishonest claim which resulted in a custodial sentence for the Claimant.
