Steven will continue to practice from his current leading set, Kings Chambers, but will develop his practice in London through 2 Temple Gardens.
Recognised by the leading legal directories as one of the top Sports law juniors in the UK, Steven enjoys an outstanding reputation in the sector. He frequently advises participants including professional athletes, teams, governing bodies, agents, and players’ associations on contractual, commercial and regulatory matters. In addition to this he sits as an arbitrator as well as chairing disciplinary and appeal panels across a variety of sports.
Away from the sports sector, Steven’s practice is directed towards business protection, where he is regularly instructed to deal with issues arising from employment contracts, breach of confidence, partnerships, restrictive covenants, and shareholder rights and obligations.
Head of Chambers, Martin Porter QC is thrilled. “Steven joins a thriving and dynamic set in 2 Temple Gardens, and we are delighted to welcome him to Chambers,” he says. “His expertise in commercial litigation and employment law, along with his enviable reputation in the Sports sector, make him a perfect match for our own market-leading practices in these areas. Steven will be an excellent addition and we look forward to supporting him as he continues to advance his impressive career.”
Steven Flynn adds “I am delighted to be joining 2 Temple Gardens in London and am really excited by the opportunities it will offer. While I was naturally drawn by the excellent quality of the individuals at 2TG and the obvious synergies with my own practice, the set’s market-wide reputation for promoting a supportive and friendly working environment was particularly attractive.”
