The 2TG employment team comprises specialist advocates who have extensive experience of acting for clients in all aspects of employment law.  We represent every level of employee and a broad range of public and private sector clients. We are instructed by a wide range of claimants and respondents, including multi-national companies, City institutions, Premier League football clubs, local authorities, trades unions, government departments and NHS Trusts.

Members of the group have significant experience in acting in large scale High Court disputes between employers and employees.  Such disputes focus on restrictive covenants, confidential information and trade secrets and breaches of contractual, fiduciary and directors’ duties. This includes claims with an international dimension, raising issues of choice of forum and territorial scope.  Members of the group have extensive experience of applying for urgent interim relief to enforce restrictive covenants and to restrain the misuse of confidential information.

We are experts in occupational stress and harassment and all forms of discrimination claims, including equal pay disputes and claims by members against their trade unions. Some of us practice in both employment law and other relevant areas including personal injury, commercial fraud and sport and bring specialist knowledge to bear from these other areas of practice.

We advise on non-contentious employment matters including remuneration arrangements, employee status and confidential information, as well as drafting employment contracts, company policies and LLP and shareholder agreements. We are also experienced in employment claims raising choice of forum issues and claims by members against their trade unions.

Member of the group can accept instructions from members of the public and corporations under the Public Access Scheme (click here for the list of barristers accepting public access instructions).
